I had my dads surprise party on Saturday Aug 21st /10 there for 31 people and I just want to say that I could not have asked for better food or service for everyone at your restaurant. From the moment I called to make the reservation Delia was so helpful!Everything was presented so beautifully and the food was so tasty. I expected everything to be amazing but it ended up being more then I could have asked for.

I am not sure what the girls name was that served us but she was amazing and so fast. She was attentive and handled our large group like it was a breeze for her. She was excellent.

Again I just wanted to thank you for making my dads surprise birthday so memorable. Our guests truly enjoyed themselves and we will be back for the fish special for sure!!!!

Thanks a million!

Quotes Elaine and I had just seen a very depressing film. We needed to be uplifted. This was the final night of Summerlicious and we intended to gorge on fine food and have a fun time. Lisbon By Night is an experience. It is party time and we loved every minute. Part of our delight was due to our outstanding server, Susanne. She was funny, irreverent, generous and highly efficient. She wanted to please and went out of her way to make our evening very special. When Elaine commented that the white wine was not exactly pleasing the glass was immediately taken away and a different wine appeared. At the end of the meal I joked that only thing missing was a piece of dark chocolate. It actually happened. We were both presented with a wrapped piece of dark delicious chocolate. I commented that I loved tuna and I was rewarded with a lot of my favorite fish. Be prepared to eat an enormous amount. The food is amazing and it never stops coming Quotes

Quotes Your wait staff is fantastic!!!!!!!!!!! I attended one of two communion parties held at your restaurant on Saturday May 14, 2011. It was very busy, especially when the children in both parties began moving around after they had finished their dinner and the music and dancing began. Your staff navigated the guests both big and small beautifully. They were patient , attentive. and friendly. Thank you Rosanna Quotes

Quotes http://www.thechefandtheprincess.blogspot.com Lisbon by Night ? somehow good dining experiences in Toronto are often associated with new, slick, trendy and fashionable places. Thank goodness that isn?t always the case. Lisbon by Night is a throw back to restaurants we went to with our parents?. bulky chairs, lots of photos and memorabilia on the wood paneled walls, chunky, sturdy cutlery and dinnerware. This Portuguese restaurant combines great food, excellent service, live entertainment, and a lively, friendly atmosphere to give diners a thorough ?wow? experience. We were at the corner of Dundas St. and Bathurst St. and yet, for a few hours, felt oceans away from Toronto. Food ? excellent with special mention for the sardines, Portuguese sausage appetizer, grilled grouper and Vera?s home made dessert (although we are told the recipe was originally her sister Carmen?s). Chef had the Fish Rodizio which is a constant flow of nine different kinds of perfectly grilled succulent fish and seafood from sea bream to shrimp, accompanied by rice, tomato, cilantro and onion salsa, and grilled pineapple. We had white port as an aperitif which was a nice change from our usual favorite martini, and went surprisingly well with all the apps. Not knowing much about Portuguese wine, Carmen, our perfectly attentive and knowledgeable server, helped us select a great bottle of white (sorry, don?t remember the name). We switched back to port with our dessert, and she brought us a special treat ? a 1978 port which was smooth, not overly sweet and perfect with Vera?s home made dessert (layers of light fluffy mousse with a graham cracker crumble and chocolate). Throughout this mouth watering meal, we were entertained by a very talented duo that played quite a selection from Pink Floyd to traditional Portuguese music. Of course, there was a small dance floor and it was wonderful to see people up dancing. You just don?t find that kind of experience in the city very often and we would go back in a heartbeat. Quotes We both decided to enjoy the Fish Rodozio. I don?t even have words to describe our delicious fish fest. Platters of fish kept coming around and you helped yourself to as much as you desired. Would you believe that on this occasion platters of tuna, bream, shrimp, calamari, grouper and sardines was offered to us. The platters came more than once. Each table was presented with a bowl of small roasted potatoes and fantastically flavored rice. I intend to come back for more Fish Rodizio. For $20.00 you are offered all the grilled fish you can eat. Bread, potatoes and salad are included. The fish is perfectly seasoned and it is wonderful to feast on such a variety at one sitting. . We were bursting at the seams but managed to eat most of our dessert. Elaine?s choice was the Rice Pudding and I shamelessly ordered the Creme Caramel. I really loved the burnt sugar topping. We both agreed that this was a wonderful dining feast and we had so much fun. Quotes
